As a child, Charlee's parents knew she would be an artist when she threw out her coloring books and started to create her own. She received a degree in graphic design from the Art Institute. Her strong knowledge of color, print, illustration and current trends creates award winning impactful campaigns.

Following the huge success with this program, Maxx expanded the concept to combine sales and marketing, generating significant profits for each of her clients. She's worked with a wide variety of brands, including: Nestles, Hasbro, Mattel, Cartoon Network, Hennessy, Coca Cola, Dentyne Ice and Pfizer. She has sold two films to Universal Home Video and written a television pilot to Dick Clark Productions.
In her free time, Maxx volunteers with Rude Ranch, an animal rescue organization in Maryland and for Ethiopian famine relief.
Nicole Folkes-Johnson is happiest after she’s made someone else happy. After learning traffic management, art buying and ad production at Ogilvy & Mather in New York City and working on major accounts (American Express, Kodak, IBM, Kraft, Miller Lite, AT&T Wireless)
After working at WING Latino on the Latin American campaigns of Pantene, Cover Girl, Downy and Febreze, Nicole joined IMAGES USA where she produced African-American and Hispanic campaigns of the Georgia Lottery, Amtrak, Hillshire Farm and Wachovia.
Nicole studied Fine Art at Binghamton University and the School of Visual Art in New York City. She is single handedly trying to change eating habits in Georgia through Eat Right Atlanta! a produce delivery service she founded with he husband Donsha.
Ricki Fairley is the Founder, President and Thought Leader of DOVE Marketing, a marketing agency with a mission to deliver iconic thinking, strategic problem solving and creative genius to clients seeking profitable business results. Fairley is a seasoned marketer with over 30 years of marketing experience including 20 years in brand management at Johnson & Johnson, Nabisco, Reckitt & Colman and The Coca-Cola Company, and over ten years in agency leadership encompassing strategic planning and consulting for numerous Fortune 500 companies. She is passionate about helping clients identify marketplace opportunities, establish insight-based objectives and strategies, and build results-driven campaigns with resonating creative. In November 2013, Ricki received the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) 2013 Multicultural Excellence Award for the African American radio advertising for the Obama for America campaign. In February, 2014, Ricki was inducted into The HistoryMakers.
Prior to starting DOVE in February 2012, Ricki held the position of Chief Marketing Officer and Partner at IMAGES USA where she managed strategy and planning for all IMAGES USA clients. She led the implementation of successful and award-winning campaigns for Amtrak, Sara Lee, Wachovia-Wells Fargo, Glory Foods, The National Black Arts Festival, Teach for America and Brown Forman. She also directed the Agency's new business development initiatives that maintained its position as a leading multicultural marketing firm.
Ricki holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She is the President Emeritus of the Black Alumni of Dartmouth Association, and Board Chair of Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Latin American Association, Ne-Yo’s Compound Foundation, and Move This World. Ricki manages the relationship between the Links, Inc. and the White House Office of Public Engagement as a member of the National Women’s Issues & Economic Empowerment Committee, and is a member of the Silver Spring, MD Chapter of the Links, Inc. Ricki was recently appointed as a Champion for the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation and works pro bono to garner publicity for breast cancer awareness. In addition to her 2013 ANA Multicultural Excellence Award, Ricki holds the Leadership Award from the Creative Thinking Association of America, was named a Top 100 Marketer by Black Enterprise Magazine in February 2011 and is member of the 2011 Class of Leadership Atlanta.
Ricki has two daughters. Her Dartmouth Class of 2007 daughter, Amanda, is the National Political Director of Rock the Vote in Washington, DC and made the Forbes 30 under 30 List for Law and Policy in January 2013. Her younger daughter, Hayley will graduate from Dartmouth in June 2014 and will be working for Teach for America in the San Francisco Bay area.
Douglas Segars is a talented photographer with an eye for design and the aesthetically pleasing. A graduate of Temple University with a degree in Communications, he has followed his passion and transitioned from being hobbyist to pursuing his professional calling. This Sharpshooter is a digital native who is constantly developing and pursuing new techniques and skills of his trade. He is currently freelancing at the prestigious MILK Studios in New York City. Additionally, he has worked as a production assistant on various sets ranging from fashion photography, film, entertainment and music videos.
Douglas has had the privilege to intern for several entities including; Universal Motown, under the Universal Music Group (UMG) umbrella, which is the largest American music corporation; By Any Means LLC., a full-service marketing firm specializing in the creation and execution of meaningful brand experiences; ALL HIPHOP.Com, a hip hop news website founded in 1998, which receives five million visitors a month, and is the world's most popular hip hop website, and; Miles High Productions, which works directly with music artists and entertainment based projects that are in need of additional marketing support. Douglas also gained experience with strategic and integrated marketing tactics while serving as a Music and Events Intern at Grace Culture Marketing (NYC) within the Digital Marketing & Media Departments. Inspired by good energy and people, Douglas is in pursuit of his own expressive voice within the artistic medium and is excited to develop brands and images that will stand the test of time.
AJ Pick received his first computer when he was seven days old ... and a love affair was born. His passion for code was evident all through his early schooling, prompting him to start his first company while still in high school. Receiving several prestigious contracts urged him to take early graduation, and he began his tech titan career.
